^^ no doubt. Sorry that's such a pain to grab on vinyl, I actually ended up spinning this yesterday afternoon after seeing your post. Great album, I'd love to grab the first record she put out but I got my doubts considering the pricing.

Last night bumped some good Chitown Hip Hop…

Grav – Down to Earth LP (Correct Records) 1996

^Great album. One I slept on till last night. It was on the tail end of my to-get list for a while, found er at a nice price still sealed, jumped on it. Glad I did too cuz there is some seriously good production on this from the likes of Kanye, Dug Infinite, No ID, Andy C, etc. Not a lot of filler at all, just the way I like it.

Earatik Statik – Evil is Timeless 12” (Gravel Records) 2004

^Earatik is another chitown MC residing underground. This one is ok, some cool Diamond beats but over all pretty ehh.

Earatik Statik – Mission Destruction 12” (Filthy Habit Recordings) 2005

^This one on the other hand is a great Kool Keith\Earatik colabo, lots of spacy boom bap beats on this.

J.U.I.C.E – Sincerely 12" (Ground Control Records) 1999

^The legendary freestyle MC out of chitown on one of the only 12"s I'd consider actually worth copping. If not for the picture cover surely for the A side track which is fire. I got him on umpteen different 12s besides this one either as a guest MC or as the primary MC, and even the rarer ones aren't as good as this. He's one of those MCs who's heralded freestyle battles never equated to big record deals, but as he so eloquently puts it on this single "As long as I can reach my fan's by vinyl I'm fine!"

Connecticut Kartel - The Question Is? 12" (Chase Entertainment) 1997

^One of the more rare dope randoms I got, obviously not from Chicago. Paid a pretty penny for this too. Like all really rare really dope Hip Hop twelves this one only has 2 great tracks out of 4. But the dopeness factor on the good tracks are so overpowering that I had no problem justifying the high price tag because, point blank, the big two tracks are thee perfect selections for a really dope mixtape I got in my head that I keep putting off. Running out of excuses, I should really just start the process. If not now then when? old geezer
