Listening to his 2010 "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy" right now...

What are your thoughts on him?

Peaked with "Through The Wire" has steadily got worse since.
Only track of his I have ever liked.
The LP with him trying to sing was at the height of his arrogance - Terrible.

Overrated.

Agree that "Throught the wire" was his best. I like a couple of his songs but the only one I actually own is "Good life". I'd say that his lyrical skills have evolved but his songs have been less and less interessting to me. Average at best...

Don't sleep on "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy", it's Epic. Literally, a home run for Kanye... the packaging, the samples, the musical content and flow and guest artists all make this one a must have Hip Hop album of 2010.

Kanye is one of those "everything I do is over the top extreme" emotional artists who is bound to drop something incredible from time to time. I think this was his "F#ck You Haters" albums.

I've never been a huge fan, never will be, but I know a special album when I hear one. I'm really glad I own that one. College dropout is dope too, but this one is next level.

...haven't really felt a good majority of his stuff since his, 'Graduation' album (2007). there's been a random joint here-and-there that's pretty tight (either as a featured artist (with him doing the beats)), but other than that didn't feel the '808 & heartbreaks' album - or the newer one (dark twisted fantasy)...other than, 'Power" and 'Devil in A New Dress'

peace.
