i've been going through some rap albums of the past - just rekindling with some stuff that i remember well, but ain't heard in years...ya know, to break up the cycle of other eras and genres that i've been listening to.

underappreciated rap albums....there's a lot. alot that of material that got passed by in eras that had HUGE mega-hit singles and/or albums that became so popular and just overshadowed some really good output from other artists/peers of the time. no doubt to both of these. i was going to mention 'Contemporary Jeep Music' (album), but didn't since i've been championing it a few times lately (in other threads), i didnt' want folks to think i was still jockin' Da king & I, hard like that...LOL


The Bitck is Back' had some ill joints.....my favortie being the (Kool G Rap ghost-written), 'Straight Razor'..the Large Pro produced, 'Brother's Ain't Shit'.....'Deadly Rhymes' (another Large Pro joint).

HII - DJ Honda - definitely underappreciated.
