If you could have any Hip Hop DJ to spin for a "dream" party that you are hosting for all your extended friends and family who would the DJ be?



Kinda like the stranded on an island scenario, you only get one blah blah blah, well name ONE and only one. There is no opening DJ, it is a one DJ party.

Expand on why you named that name. There's gotta be a reason you named that name, let's spark a little discussion.

My extended frinds and family are old school and the other half is Brazilian,so I would need someone who understands
how to get in and out of beats, smoothly and without a lot of extra smilin'.
So I would have to go with a man known more for his producing than his dj'ing but rest assure he has been a prominent DJ in his own right...

That would be Premo (DJ Premier)

when it comes to the actual blending of the records,he is on another level of intuitiveness when it comes to funk 45's
and soul music.

If I was being greedy and just wanted to see who I wanted there I'd choose DJ Shadow but I'm pretty sure his latest Trap mixes wouldn't fly with Moms and Pop or really anyone in my family except me and my lil brother. So I'd say the best party rocker is one of the best DJs on the planet in terms of "playing to the crowd" playing what they wanna here wherever he goes. Being responsible for rocking some of the worlds best NYE parties, mixing in all genres including rock Hip Hop techno whatever, DJ Z-trip. Yeah, I'd choose him, that's the guy who everyone in my extended fam would enjoy the most.

For me it would probably be Dj Numark . That dude knows how to rock a party and incorporates so many styles , there would be something for everybody .

I'd have to rock with DJ Jazzy Jeff. He knows how to rock a party.
