Herb Alpert is known for The Tijuana Brass.
But kid ain't Mexican..He's Jewish.There was not a single latino in the Tijuana Brass
They was just session musicians..and Lani Hall is from Chicago.
She's just singing in Brasilian Portuguese because Sergio is from Niteroi(Brasil)
and it was his thing.Go figure,right..haha

that's pretty interesting. I knew about Herb Albert not being Mexican/Latino...but didn't know about the Lani Hall connection...and her connection with Sergio Mendes. Is that her on the cover of this Herb Alpert album? I can can't tell (facially)....
