Bumpin this ..

Libretto - Gangsta Jazz vol.2 the album . I have to admit that I saw this on bandcamp a few times and passed it up without a listen . Rchecka hit me up and told me to check it out . Good lookin homie !!! This tape is dope !!!! Definitely worth every cent . Rchecka compared it to Jazzmatazz and I can definitely see that . Really great jazz instrumentals with a laid back lyrical flow . My only complaint is that I don't have vol. 1 .

^Great tape. I'm happy to own that myself. I thought it started off a little slow but then quickly built up to it's full jazzy potential

Last night...

Bloody Monk Consortium - Burden of Truth EP & Bloodshed Cassettes (Johnny 23 Records) 2011-2012

^Got a couple of these hard underground hip hop joints I've apparently been sleeping on from the artist direct from their bandcamp page. I was frankly pretty surprised how good these tapes were and how interesting and dark each one was. I knew they would be pretty good because I peeped a few of their tracks on bandcamp but I didn't know they would be that good.

They are pretty hard to put into a box, but I'd say for fans of Chicago's Rubberroom and the Opus, and for fans of Jedi Mind Tricks these tapes should be right up your alley. The beats are cinematic, moody, dark and introspective. Great guests including C-Rayz Walz and more.

The rhymes are political, heavy and hard. These guys are down to earth, doing it all themselves, 100% self produced, 100% real, and self marketed and sold on bandcamp by their own damn selves. Tapes like these is why I still love rocking Hip Hop tapes. You cannot get these on CD or LP, this right here is why you gotta buy tapes too if you want it all.

Yo much respect and glad you like the joints! We got another album coming out hopefully by the end of the year Fully Automated Kill Unlimited. Got a few tracks on there with Jak Tripper and a joint with Tame One from the Artifacts. #salute
