Thanks guys. i hope it will generate some interest. Those records are what made me get into the whole vinyl scene

Now time for our E artist

Erule

Erule is a rapper from Chicago who relocated to LA. He released this 12" in 1994 and was supposed to drop an album based on what the sticker says. Unfortunately the album never dropped but he did release multiple 12" and EP in the late 90s, early 2000s. The Real Me / Here It Is is pretty nice and worth hunting down. The rest of what i heard not so much.
Now back to Listen Up / Synopsis: It's one of those perfect 12" if that even exists. The beats are fresh to death (Listen Up samples Roy Ayers so you know it got that soul, Synopsis is on the jazz tip with a dope bass line and great horn and piano samples). On the mic Erule is dope. His voice and delivery really mesh well with the beats. I've put both tracks on mixtapes, that's how much i love this record. Must have if you ask me and very findable / affordable
