ATTN: OP Forum DJs...
Sometimes it's nice to hold an actual CD-R mix in your hand from a real DJ. Compared to the mp3 download which eventually gets long forgotten because mp3s are so disposable and plentiful, they have a bit more longevity and impact. I'm one of those guys that appreciates the time and effort put into creating nice packaging and the better sound quality from compact disc.
Anyone interested in starting a mixtape swap mailing list? In other words, you make as many copies of your mix as there are people on the mailing list. And whoever ships the mix gets feedback and other DJs' mixes in return. I think its a great way to build with fellow DJs and get your name out there. Most importantly, it'll make your listeners happy, which is really why DJs DJ.
If there are enough people interested we could break it down by area since shipping overseas can be expensive. But first I'd like to see how many people are interested in participating.

Anyone down with this? I'm definitely down with doing this myself. Keep in mind, while It would add to your expenses to ship music, it would come back to you ten-fold in what you get out of it.
