Great tips. I've never tried the grounding bar. I do use a carbon fiber brush sometimes, and move it to the center of the record and touch the spindle to act as a ground. Re: the Zerostat, I have one. Expensive and pain in the ass to use. I recently discovered Gruv Glide and it seems to work as a anti-static treatment. Re: anti-static inners, I may be swearing off Sleeve City even though I've bought hundreds of inners from them over the years. The last 2 or 3 batches I received had QC/QA issues. I might be switch to MOFI inners going forward.
One thing that I would suggest as an easy, cheap fix to cut down on static is simply turning your thermostat down. Cranking up the heat like mad only makes winter static worse. Also - no socks on carpet!
