Flat earthers are the all time dumbest cult muppets on the planet. They choose to believe something not because they know it to be true but because they want to be a part of a group of people who question authority. They favor belonging over their own internal logic. They cannot be reasoned with because reason is meaningless. They fear science itself.
I cannot think of anything more weak minded than these fools and yet like a growing cult they are everywhere. I did not realize how bad it became until I started following
NASA on Instagram.
Read literally any post NASA makes on there and you'll spot legions of flat earther cult muppets literally trolling on their posts about Jupiter, Mars or Earth and they all ask the same rhetorical questions in the exact same wording because they evidently all share the same brain. When they ask "Where are the stars!?" They are answered with scientifically proven answers explaining how simple camera exposure functions yet they don't read the answers. They instead repeat the same dumb question on the next post NASA drops. They avoid the answers like answers are the plague. They are not motivated by money to troll on NASA, it all boils down to their need to belong to this cult. That's what it is, a certified cult. No different from the Trump cult who likewise turns their dumbfuck blinders up to 11 when confronted with facts. And like the Trump cult it's about a longing for belonging to a group of people who hate diversity and science itself.
When they are in both the flat earth cult and the trump cult it is quite common because stupid sticks with stupid. For the sake of humanity itself they should lose the right to have children. Those genes should not be passed down.

What does a guy like that do for a living? How does he make his way through the day with his blinders on full blast? Doesn't he know that everyone around him thinks he's a joke for opening his mouth and letting that bullshit out?
Tell that guy "Look at a lunar eclipse, see the rounded shadow? That's earth's shadow on the moon and it's round. There's your proof" - He'll either ignore it by purposefully blurring his eyes or he'll conjure some ridiculous explaination as to why humans should not believe their own eyes.
What about GPS, or DirecTV? The fact these things function at all is mathematical proof the earth is round. But this proof is nothing to those who can turn proof off like a TV. How do you shut down your own logic like that, that is confounding.
Long rant shortened, WHY?
Why choose belonging to a group of people who chooses to ignore science when there are all kinds of groups out there that accomplish goals. What do they hope to accomplish? What motivates someone to follow NASA for the sole purpose of trolling on science itself? Did NASA hurt them somehow?
It's 2018 and this movement exists stronger than ever. Is humanity fucked??
