I realize that I have been an absent member on here for the most part of at least the last 6 months . I have tried to peak in as much as I could , but I have been very tied up lately . Almost exactly 8 months ago , my wife and I found out we were having our first child . We have probably never been so happy about a single event in our time together. Shortly after was when the what do we need to do to prepare questions started setting in . We realized that we needed some remodeling to the house. So that has taken up a lot of my time . Not to mention the need to constantly tend to my wife . All of this has been winding down lately as we were coming up on the last months of my wife's pregnancy , when on Friday, I got a call saying there were some slight complications and that we needed to induce labor before things could get worse . This was already a scary feeling , but after 2 days of trying to force labor on my wife at no avail , we were sent back for a c-section. As they are prepping my wife , they realize that she is only numbing on one side . I was rushed out so they could put her under anesthesia. VERY SCARY !!! Thankfully within 20 minutes , my beautiful baby girl was in my arm . That's an undescribable , great feeling . After another 10 minutes , my wife was back in the room. Aside from a little low blood sugar this morning with my daughter , both her and my wife are doing great . So scary weekend with an amazing turnout !!! I hope to have time to build with you guys more , but just don't count me all the way out if I can't make much time for a while. BTW , even though she was a month early , my daughter is 7 lbs 9 oz !!!! And IMO the cutest thing I have ever seen !!! I know that's a little deep for this forum , but I have spent the last few years building with you guys , plus am so proud I want to share this with whoever will listen ...
