I haven't listend to too much new, 2012 releases, outside of rap, but the ones i have bought and really like are:




Van Halen - A Different Kind of Truth (had a chance to finally see them in concert earlier this year!! it was a long time waiting to see them perform with DLR...too bad Michael Anthony wasn't on Bass).




Santigold - Master Of My Make Believe





Soundgarden - King Animal





The Weeknd - Trilogy (technially 3 albums released individually, online for free between 2011-2012..the "powers that be" finally gave it distribution and a formal release, in a box-set, in November)
