I've only got Still Bill and that single, but I'm always looking for more. Do you have the MoFi version of Live? How's it sound? It's about the same price as a NM OG - that's always a tough choice.

@whyaduck, my copy of the Live @ Carnegie Hall album is the current CD, which runs about $5. Sounds great. I've come across used LP copies from the 70s in the wild but they are always trashed. If you really want it on vinyl, I would probably just get the MOFI. Most people seem pleased with their newer run of LPs from the past few years. The 3-4 I have are all great, no complaints from me. MOFI is expensive, but at least you know what you are getting into there, as opposed to dicking around with a bunch of Discogs/eBay sellers that may or may not grade accurately.

Speaking of Discogs sellers, I was amused to receive the following message in my inbox after asking about a copy of Funkadelic s/t:

Peace, I put this lp on the turntable at 6 am , put a burning candle under the fragrant oil and was transported. Thanks for the exercise. It plays like new even before I cleaned it. I viewed the images and it looks like I'm not passing anything off. I also took pics and will happily send them to you. One Love /seller name redacted/

I think I may have a new favorite Discogs seller.

I completely hear what you are putting down. I love finding passionate sellers, especially on Discogs (but really, where ever). These are the kind of people who you can trust and you can expect nothing but the best service every time and it's because they love what they are doing.

I found a few specialty genre experts and go-to Discogs sellers that I communicate with on the norm just from basic Discogs communication where we found common ground. One in particular has become a good friend and I keep in touch with the dude all the time because he's that cool.

Discogs can be a wildcard sometimes, with enough purchases you'll get the good with the bad, but a lot of times if you find the right people from using common sense with the seller information at your fingertips, and eventually, you'll have an ongoing buyer\seller relationship that you can fall back on anytime. That's a pretty cool thing.Freddie
