Warzone - Don't Forget The Struggle/Open Your Eyes CD

First two albums on one disc by this semi-legendary NY hardcore band. Although the band later reformed and got some notoriety on Victory Records during the 90s, these two albums (from 1987 and 1988) are arguably the real classics in their catalog. This CD came out in the early 90s and was a PITA to track down. Why these albums have not been legitimately reissued is beyond me. I'm guessing it comes down to record label politics or whatever.

The Saints - All Times Through Paradise - 4xCD Boxset

Probably the most well known Australian punk band besides Radio Birdman. Although a lot of people gravitate toward the debut (which I believe I have posted on vinyl here before), the second and third albums are just as good if not better. The other day I put on the third and fourth disc, which cover the "Prehistoric Sounds" LP and a live set. That LP is sort of like a punk/soul fusion, heavy on the horns and they even cover "Security". Sound quality on the live set is surprisingly good.

Wipers - Youth of America LP

Second album from this legendary band and my introduction several years back. Not as intense right out of the gate as the albums immediately before and after it, this is still a killer album.

This 2007 reissue on Jackpot is pretty nicely done and has the original cover art unlike some of the other pressings and CD reissues out there. I'd still say the Wipers 3xCD box is essential for all the bonus material though.

Indigesti - Osservati dall' Inganno CD

80s Italian HC punk that sounds a bit inspired by the early Bad Brains. These guys tear it up though and this is a very solid album. I also like their singles comp. Ideally you want to go for old 80s vinyl on this as the CD is unfortunately a needledrop. I'm guessing the original master tapes for this are long gone.

The Jam - In The City LP (70s U.S. Pressing)

Picked this up because it was a nice clean copy and priced a few bucks less than I usually see Jam albums go for, especially this one. I'm a big fan of course and have two other pressings of this album, so I'm not sure if I need to keep it long-term. I might pass it on to a friend or something. It does sound great though. In a head to head my UK 1st pressing might beat it out by a hair, but not by much.
