Xingu Hill - Alterity
Xingu Hill were one of those projects that were nominally doing the same types of things you'd find on the Warp label during the mid-90s but never found a broad audience like that stuff did, probably due to label associations and such. Like Black Lung (who released stuff onthe same labels and did a collab album with XH), Xingu Hill found more of an audience in the industrial/post-industrial scene. This is a very nice album, very overlooked IMHO.

I agree this should have gotten much more attention. I picked up their first two albums as blind buys back around late '96 or early '97 and was pretty blown away by them. I don't have this one, but it sounds like a keeper.
