Just d/l'ed the SoundCloud app, so I'm screemgrabbing the tracklist I guess I had a false memory that there was more hip hop on here.. EDIT by rchecka: png images don't link well here, FYI.by BiggieAndTheMets - Member Submissions

I probably won't grab this (I'm not typically one to stop $ on boxed sets unless they're the opera & Springsteen boxed sets that I've picked up at thrift shops.), but I'd love to hear what's on here. I'm pretty much a sucker for anything prodigy and hav put out. Not to be confused with Havoc and Prodeje Also, if you haven't listened to theby BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
A few years back a local music fest had a contest for the best mixtape and I threw my hat in the ring. In the end, the winners were bullshit (they only posted pics of the winners, not track lists, so I'm sure they won solely based on their twee packaging) and although mine made it to the finalists table (it was easy to spot in the case I made from blue bandannas and embroidered with a dodgeby BiggieAndTheMets - Member Submissions
So when I posted initially, I hadn't listened to them yet, but Buffalo Gals is a classic- it's a little goofy (like a lot of classic hip hop), but it's solid, fun party music. Now that I've listened to em, I'd recommend all three. The opera ones are kinda synth-pop backing tracks mixed with spoken word, pop vocals, and operatic singing. It's a weird combination, fby BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
Awesome picture set- I've got some I'll add once I can snap some picsby BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
Nice! I actually made some drone loops last night and then just let em play out while I did some stoner yoga. I'll have to keep my eyes open for that LPby BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
QuoteBiggieAndTheMets Bought these three Malcolm McLaren records yesterday for $3. Only one is really a hip-hop record (the other two are apparently synth pop interpretations of the operas Carmen and Madama Butterfly.) but goddamn what a record it is! Malcolm's backed on this one by the world class supreme team. If I remember correctly, I got familiar with this one listening to funkmaby BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Hip Hop

Sooooooooo dope! I saw what I thought was the video for this song a while back, but it was just the take from the supermarket (which I haven't been able to find online since)by BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
I can't choose. If I picked either one, I'd be second guessing myself immediately thereafter. To many classics on both sides.by BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
I can kinda see the connection- there's a similar growl to the vocals on both.by BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
So much goodness since last time I checked into this thread-- I'm definitely partial to that Orchid though! I picked that record up way back in the day because the dude on the cover looked like the Misfits fiend and initially really wasn't feeling it, but unlike most people, I've actually grown to like screamo MORE in my old age, so now it's up there with some of my favoritesby BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
Bookmarking this to download and bump later (wife is watching a movie at present time, I am half watching). I definitely love me some old ass country tunes. I used to live with a dude from Chattanooga, TN who had a fuuuuuck ton of old country 45s and 78s that I would play the shit out of. Then I punched him in the face and we had a prolonged fist fight that ended when he pulled a knife and hiby BiggieAndTheMets - Member Submissions
Haa took me a minute to realize that those santa hats were shopped on. Hope everyone's Christmas was better than mine was. I'm sure it was, because none of you spent it with my family!by BiggieAndTheMets - General Discussion
I'm Ol' Killah Green! Ha-- turns out that's my Wu-Tang name too. and possibly the name of whatever strain I was smoking on over the past 2 weeks... my vacation was haazy.by BiggieAndTheMets - General Discussion
I kinda liked the new mobb deep joint better than the havoc solo record. I liked what I heard off of killer mike and El-p's record too, but I haven't really sat with it yet. The new ghostface LP is wonderful.by BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
Come tomorrow, I'll be hiding in the bathroom, toking on a stealth vape, watching this video and avoiding my familyby BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
I haven't listened to all of the Phryme stuff, but the single I heard was nothing to remember. Great beat... Lackluster rhymesby BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
Ah man, I hope he didn't leave Hell on Wheels specifically to host the furniture show... He was awesome on that and this seems like a strange fit. Like, maybe he's really into that, but I'd just really rather see him keep actin and rappin and being in Alicia keys videos.by BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
Well, I would say Ani DiFranco since apparently that's considered chick rock, but the only catch is that I'm not guilty about it at all! I am quite open and loud about thinking she's the shit. Her guitar playing is so great it blows my mind consistently. Her and Mike Doughty had the same poetry professor and I think you can see some similarities in their lyrical styles that probby BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
For the longest time I was a minor threat fan over fugazi... But I think becoming an old man has shifted me more towards Fugazi. Have you checked out his newer band, the Evens? It's just Ian and former pharmacist Amy Farina. They're rad.by BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
Quoterchecka ^Those are pretty cool shaped discs! It be cool to see them in rotation. I wanna see you juggling those on your ones and twos so put your Iphone on video recorder aim it from above and upload that shit here. That would make a great youtube clip. "Is that a Tointable?" "Get on it." "It's Your Turn" That would be dope! Please do this, uby BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
Lots of great stuff in here- that slits record in particular is dope. I love them, but I haven't got anything by them in my crates yet. Tonight, I'm listening to a classic grunge single by punk metal screamers, KARP KARP and PNMV Proudly Present: Tumwater T-Birds (Punk In My Vitamins, PNMV01, 1994) For those unfamiliar, Karp thrashed hard from 1990-1998 and recorded forby BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
Yeah the song with Jamey Jasta from hatebreed is kinda rad too-- I listen to ice t's podcast and have been hearing new tracks there. Edit: embedded vid - rcheckaby BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
I looked in a bunch of nearby shops for that dilla record, to no avail. That's crazy people are paying 7 bills for that. I don't usually flip records that I enjoy, but I definitely would've cashed that one in if I could've.by BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
I got stuck late at work and now I'm waiting to pick my girlfriend up from school, so I haven't spun any records yet today. I am, however, bumping Indecision's album Most Precious Blood, mightily. For those unfamiliar, they were a brooklyn hardcore band from the late 90s that flirted with metal and noise a lot more than your typical NYHC bands. Good rainy day music (which todayby BiggieAndTheMets - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
