Nicole Mitchell - Mandorla Awakening II: Emerging Worlds
FPE Records, 2017
Flautist and composer Nicole Mitchell gets pretty far out and weird with an amazing take on free jazz and world fusion on this record. It's hard to put into exact words everything that's going on here, but it's all fantastic.

Karl Sanders - Saurian Meditation
Relapse Records, 2004
Not metal by any means, but still incredibly heavy, this album is Nile frontman Karl Sanders making a sort of ambient music based on Sumerian and Egyptian mythology. A cool concept that turned out even better in execution.

Shroud Eater - Strike The Sun
STB Records, 2017
This is excellent sludgy doom with some affinity for bands like Integrity and Neurosis. STB is one of those rare labels that I will blind buy from knowing whatever they put out will be pretty awewome, and that was the case with this album.

Blues Creation - Demon & Eleven Children
Originally released by Denon, 1971 - this pressing by Therapeutic Records, 2011
Killer psych from the early 70s out of Japan. This was the group's second LP, and some of the members would go on to form the slightly more successful Creation later in the decade.

Boris - Live In Japan
Southern Lord, 2010
Tripped out psychedelic noise rock from these Japanese titans of everything loud. This was recorded at the final show of their 2008 world tour. Be sure to check this band out live if they ever play in a city near you. It's an unforgettable experience.

Melt Banana - 13 Hedgehogs (MxBx Singles 1994-1999)
A-Zap Records, 2005
Saw this band live many years ago and they were great. I don't think I've ever owned anything by them. What would you say are their best releases in your opinion?
Their best studio stuff in my opinion is probably Scratch Or Stitch and Teeny Shiny. I really like these singles comps, though

I'm going to agree with LionsMouth on everything he said. If you don't own the copyright, there are some shady manufacturers in Eastern Europe, Russia, and Asia that would maybe do it, but it would be even more expensive than most of the options you listed that you've already looked at. On top of that, if they end up screwing up your order or just completely stiffing you on it, you

Melt Banana - 13 Hedgehogs (MxBx Singles 1994-1999)

CD compilation that pulls together tracks from this Japanese noisecore band's first thirteen singles, EPs, and split releases. There's some pretty far out stuff happening in these tracks, none of it very pretty, but totally interesting for fans of noise rock and grindcore.

Frank Zappa's 200 Motels
MVD Visual, 2018
Finally a decent rerelease of this classic piece of outsider cinema. This is a fairly well done transfer, not grainy or sourced from a VHS like some bootleg DVDs I've seen floating around.
If you like the idea of psychedelic visuals, half naked girls, some great performances from The Mothers Of Invention, and Ringo Star playing Frank

Bootleg LP with audio taken from The Doors infamous show that took place in Miami on March 1, 1969. This is the gig that would cause their entire US tour to be cancelled, and end up with Jim Morrison being brought up on several charges ranging from public drunkenness to indecent exposure.

Pharoah Sanders - Message From Home
Verve Records, 1996
I increasingly find myself of the opinion that Pharoah Sanders has been playing only one song for over 55 years now, and it's the one that lifts the chains from your soul and sets you free to roam the cosmos. Nothing on this very cool album changes my mind about that. This one has everything from deep afrofunk to soaring spiritu

Berlin - Pleasure Victim
Geffen Records / Enigma Records / M.A.O. Records, 1982
Awesome synthpop from the early days of the genre. You can hear the influence of krautrock artists like Kraftwerk on this album so strongly that back when I first heard this, I honestly thought it was a new release from some of the members of that band with a female singer before I found out who Berlin was. This well-written and researched book details the history of Jazz in Nazi Germany.
Jazz as an art form was first denounced as "degenerate" and finally outright banned under Hitler's regime. That didn't stop it from becoming an underground phenomenon though. If anything, it served as a form of protest music, as many peopl

What is your favorite Tull album out of curiosity?
SW does some interesting remixes. I recently got his Tears For Fears and Yes remix box through HD Tracks. He seems to add more space between the instruments over the original mixes. Still working through the Yes stuff but these are an interesting listen, especially over headphones.
