Truseone...I got rid of the shelved version/bootleg version once I got the formal release, so I don't remember if it was on that...but, I know it's not on the formal, Seven heads released album. I know it was on 12", on Supperrappin' (I think was the label that originally pressed it.). You can also find it on an EP of his earlier releases, called 'Always

For deep cleaning and restoration I use Groovy Cleaner.
Spray that stuff on the record directly and let it pool up on the dirty surface of the record (or the whole record if it's trashed) (don't let it touch the label or it will peel off the label and bleach the color.)
.
Let it sit on the record for about 5 minutes. Then wipe using a record cleanup cloth (pres

Awww man I remember this one most def. I love how the Beatminerz have maintained that grimy basement sound in their production.
if you want to hear some grimey Beatminerz production, you should check this album (if you haven't heard it, already)...came out around 2001 or so.
Brace For Impack

a dope album no doubt...i was rockin on the bootleg of it in the late 90's..and was VERY happy to get rid of that shitty sounding bootleg and get an official, mastered copy, when it finally was taken off the shelves and got the proper, offical release in the early 2000's.
peace.
Yeah that album was a long time coming. I was wondering: did the original version h

Alright here it comes you might laugh at me for this first one but I found it recently:
I was all in to the Fugees camp like everyone else back in the day...haha.... sue me.
I loved how Pete Rock put together the "Trouble Man " record. "Show and Prove" was pretty great too.
i loved this one mainly for the production.
Possibly one of my favorite albums ever.

Im a huge fan of the low budget movies. Im the guy that buys the little five dollar spaghetti western and horror movie compilations in the bin at Walmart. It's trash but it's entertaining.
This one has to be the best worst movie I have ever seen. The special effects the make up are bad, even by 1960s standards.

Yo this is a great thread B..
In no particular order:
1) Music- all kinds of music.
2) Firearms- particularly old school Mil-surp.
3) Books-trying to read all of the classics, philosophy, investing, home improvement...etc.
4) Im looking to get into biking to add to my workouts. .
5) Gardening- it's funny that this was mentioned. Im on a quest to make my backyard look like Mr. Miyagi

I am so upset that my stupid DVR didn't record last night's episode of Unsung . I was excited to see EPMD talk about their careers, their breakup, the infamous robbery etc. I'm pissed!
Man what an awesome episode. It was very sad to see how things deteriorated between the two of them. I hope you get a chance to see it again.
On another note, why is it that M

I agree with Jay's statement when he says classic is something that sounds fresh way down the line. To me it's about the concept, the content and the production. Also playability; listening to an album in it's entirety and it telling a story, or conveying a theme or an emotion. To me Mobb Deeps Infamous is still fresh today.

Here's my take on this fam. Yes the beef has always been a part of the culture, but I see it more as a by-product, as opposed to anything definitive, to which the culture's existence rests on.
Ok, I think I feel you on this, do you feel it's just more of semantics..case in point say
the purpose of some (sneakers/kicks) is to protect your feet while you

I'd like to get down with a little convo on this one fam.
Is it or is it not an element?
I remember MC battles as far back as 1978,
of course Herc started with Coke 5 years earlier, so I know in some hood somewhere
brothers and sisters had to be battlin'.

To me MOS hasnt been the sme since after Black on Both Sides. There were a few songs on his newest albums that have been cool but not like back in the day. Mos Def ( UTD, Big Brother Beat, Blackstar, and Bushbabees collabos)>Casa Bey. heheh

^^My biggest gripe is not being able to work leash free does anybody know if akai will let you cut the cord and use he software without the hardware attached in a update. For producers that travel to work with others this functionality could be a lifesaver. Otherwise it seems pretty dope. I would like to get my hands on one.

I think this was a classic hip hop battle. I would say that although Jay had more of a following at the time, Nas got him with Ether. I think Jay really needed to rethink his strategy afterwards, because he could not counter with the whole" my album sales vs your album sales " argument anymore. As a result he couldnt respond effectively. I mean cmon who really remembers Superugly anyw

Good call. That DIY pre amp looks a lil daunting.
Yeah man. I think I might try this one out. I started building and modifying my own pres last year. It was pretty daunting at first, but I have a grasp on the basics now. Still learning a lot, however. I kinda figured that I was wasting time drooling over Neve preamps I couldnt afford. So I decided I would start building my own

Yeah Eugene McDaniels is pretty amazing. The backstory on that album is crazy.
Ayo R...Ronnie Laws is pretty slept on. I have quite a few of his joints.
