Damn , very sad news .. I've seen quite a few online stores that I really like suffer the same fate ( 720records.com ,360vinyl , etc ). Accesshiphop.com is still up and running even though the physical store is gone . Fatbeats , turntablelab , and dustygroove are good for copping hip hop . Giantpeach.com used to have a great selection of underground CDs , but I haven't been on that site in a long time . Of course you know bandcamp is a treasure trove of underground joints .

Well when you are good at what you do and it shows promise, things do work out.

Check it out, they got an investor and a new partner and we can go back to buying music again.

Wow. Pretty amazing. Hopefully the work on a path to sustainability going forward. It's tougher than ever to run a site/business like that, and they should definitely retool some things to keep it going in the long run.
