Man, I have to disagree. She's no more pop than Eminem or Kanye is, but she's a chick. I think she spits a lot of fire (and some garbage). I think it's all about perspective, If we were younger, we would probably all be fans. But, because most of us are boom bap fans that grew up with the "classic" dope shit, we disregard artists like her, Drake, and Wayne.

P.S., I don't think she's very attractive at all.

I ain't buying what she's selling cuz she's not selling to me, she's got $$ in her eyes, she's going pop sounding for the big teen buyers market. Almost cant blame her for wanting money, but I don't think I could say the same thing about Eminem or Kanye, their audience doesn't have to be kids to appreciate.

Hi My Name Is, Real Slim Shady, Just Loose It, etc. Nicki has real shit too, just like Em. I think Kanye is a little more difficult to explain especially recently. But to me 808's & Heartbreaks is pure pop, but different for Kanye. I'm a huge fan of Eminem, and if you put songs like Stan up against anything from Nicki that I've heard so far, she has nothing that can compare, but Eminem is the same type of artist: Shock & Awe. Nicki is STILL going after Lil Kim, i.e. Stupid Hoe. The video is actually pretty cool IMO, but she rips Kim a new one for sure. Kinda reminds me of Eminem going after some people, over and over and over.

I would agree that Nicki is a format biter for sure.

I will elaborate on Kanye shortly.
