Finally got this on wax yesterday, so now I got both LPs. I still have no regrets for selling the Equinox as it doesn't hold a candle to the other two. Not even close, it's pretty wack. I heard the mp3s of all the albums a few times but getting this on wax clinched my vote.

The first two O.K. albums are pretty groundbreaking, I wish I wouldn't have slept on them so long.

The Stress album was the most talked about album between my cronies and I (me and like three other dudes-lol)

Know I'm late to this discussion but, my two cents....

Have all three, generally agree with all that's been said (although, Eye wouldn't completely write off the 3rd...but, it is the weaker of the three). Eye have probably listened to the Stress album in it's entirety more often than the debut.

To uptown's point, the first joint was next-level and Fudge Pudge is still my fav OK joint (peace to OC...his latest album with Apollo Brown is decent).

But, there were one or two moments that clanked (Roosevelt Franklin is the immediate one that comes to mind)...Gases, Southside, Chicken (both versions) and Walk Into The Sun were all on some next ish tho.

That said, the first album is the more important one in my mind but, Eye would have to say in terms of complete albums, Stress gets the nod.

and for those who didn't get the reference at the end....

...it was from a popular local children's show from the 70's called "The Magic Garden".
