I'd probably have to go with Dotty X. He used to live on the next block down from me (in Harlem) back in the 90's...used to see him all the time either driving by (my block..to get to his)...or, sitting on the stoop of the brownstone he lived in.
respect ot Ed O.G....which, i can say I can tolerate his material now, more than i do Sadat X's current material (i think Sadat X's flow and lyricism has caught up with him, over time)...but, in overall discography (from all of Sadat X's solo albums and such...not even mentioning his group work with Brand Nubian), i give Derek X edge.
