Okay , so I just happened to turn on the Howard Stern show this morning on the way to work, and he was talking about organizing a hip hop summit ( may have been an old broadcast, not sure). Anyway , Grandmaster Caz calls in and says he would like to be a part of it. Then some random chic named Kim calls in talking about who the fuck is Grandmaster Caz . She said she never heard of him and that they needed to get some real hip hoppers , and all this other noise. Then she actually says that they need some real old school cats and started to sing Rapper Delight. Apparently unaware that Grandmaster Caz actually wrote half of it and was duped out of the credit. That's funny, thing is it doesn't surprise me anymore when cats don't know the basics about the forefathers of Hip Hop. Dude came into the HH section of DJ forums commenting that the only good Hip Hop he knows is C&C music factory LMAO.
