^^That Greenburg EP is one of my favorite wax releases in 2011. Too bad it's only an EP, beats like those coulda gone on all day.

did the instrumentals come on the wax? if not, I got 'em...

and yeah Beatlover...

"YER ONLY BUGGIN"

that is a dope track... I never took much stock in Stereo MCs, I might have to start paying a lil more attention after hearing that sample.

HAHA - funny pic!...and dope at the same time....

"what is soul?' is like the only joint i like from them...and actually thought the single was competitive to everything else that was out at the time of release - i could've swore i heard it before '88, though...really confused I did buy their first couple of albums (on cassette tape), when they dropped back in the late 80's/early 90's...but wasn't diggin their sound..kind of went the BEP way...incorporate a chick singing hooks and sh*t, gravitatied towards a pop-py sound. i half-way like the single, 'Connected'...

peace.

^Yeah, I half way liked "Connected" too, good call. They were, to me, kind of like the Hip Hop Jesus Jones or something. But regardless, that song is dope.

Last night...

Edan - Echo Party LP (Stones Throw) 2009

Haven't bumped this for a long time, I like it more now then I originally did, it's pretty ADD, but it's clever.

Various - Heavy Loungin' (Fat City Records) 1999

^Decent mellow indie sheet on this. Love the Mr. Live track.

Various - We Got A Lot (CM Records) 1993

^One of my favorite Random Rap comps. It looks like it was made in the late 80s by it's cover but it's 1993. Almost all the songs on this are heavy hitter boom bap production.

one of the best tracks...

TEACHERS check it.

Main Source - Bootlegging 7" and Will C - Pabst Raps!

couple of my favorite Hip Hop 45s...

^^That Freddy B lp is somehow easy to forget about. I don't know how many times Iäve puleld it out and said what you just did. And speaking of Ol' skool flava releases, I just picked this up:
