Always thought this brother got his in this game on his own terms.
One of the last guys to represent his own unique style.
I dug him when he was with BlackStar, also but this joint is one of my favorites.

yeah - he was nice with it (during that time frame), but shot his load, lyrically and ahsn't really had much to offer over the past 4 years, IMO. a few of the the joints, off of, the New Danger...a few off "the Esctastic" were nice, but all in all, I think lost his lyricism after chasing that Hollywood dream in the early 2000's.

peace.

Yeah, P I don't know what that Hollywood thing was about.
He was kind of odd in styles sort ta say, kinda like a Q-Tip meets Jeru.
Speaking of Q-Tip , I dug that one called Body Rock that he did with Mos and Tash.
You remember that one?

Mos Def, great rapper, horrible actor LOL.

I shook my head when I saw him on that Hitchhikers Guide Movie.((nocomment))

I am still a big fan of Mos Def although I agree with P that his lyrics are diminishing . Black Star , UTD , Black on Both Side , all were really on point . But everything after that has been extremely hit or miss.
