Some of you guys might have bought this DJ Shadow work comprised of demos, which is Total Breakdown: Hidden Transmissions From The MPC Era, 1992-1996, and which was released in 2012. Reminds you something already?
Well there's a track on this compilation called Heavy Mood and this is the same exact sample used all along the track that you can find on IIlusions from Cypress Hill.
Now the Illusions single was released in 1995, and this MPC era compilation is gathering tracks on a time spectrum from 1992 to 1996. To the best of your knowlege or belief, who do you think produced his track first, and do you have in mind any other hip hop artist who could have reused the original sample?

Funny enough, both Cypress Hill and DJ Shadow's sample are twicked the same way, same length, same pitch, same effects. DJ Shadow's might have incorporated an heavier beat, which is a manufacturing id.

^Man, good ear, I love that sample so much, both tracks that use it are great.
Regarding flash, yes, I believe it's to prevent embedding of viruses, the software only allows one flash related link for each post. But you could always do a second post BTW.
