Wow , I feel so removed right now . I have spent the better part of this year picking up older joints and other genres. I missed out on about 90% of this list . I need to get with the program and get in touch with some of this newer hip hop !!

^^I agree @jaybrown. I'm working on a project involving hip-hop and it does not leave me enough time to discover new artists. I am always reaching back into the past but I feel like I have alienated myself from a whole new world of dope material.I promise I will not repeat that for the new year (crossing fingers that project gets finished).

I'm gonna have to check out Kedrick Lamar I keep hearing about him and I know nothing of his work.

I've been getting a bit tired of Guilty Simpson this year, he's been stale sounding to my ears, but I'd definitely check that Apolo Brown collab if P says it's worthy of his 2012's best list.
