This is a two part question, answer both or neither! ((cop)))

1. What B-Boy (Break dance) signature move is your favorite?

2. Can you do it and if so how well?

Try to answer and use visuals, IE pics, and or youtube videos , graphics, instructions, links, etc. DJ

Good post,RC..
Back in the day the breakdancin' format was a little different. The classic backspin was'nt incorporated yet.
So the move for me that I liked the most was The Helicopter. It was easy to do and you threw it in to maintain a little balance b4 you rocked other moves.

Haven't tried it in ages, but I'm in great shape for a cat my age,so I probably could do it again with no problems.
But in a full routine,I'd probably pay for it in the morning.haha

I'll post a video of it from youtube, when I get it to go through.

Not really sure what my favorite b-boy move is since everytime I look at videos , I see more and more new moves , but I can say that if the uprock is wack , then I pretty much loose interest . Can I do any dope moves ? Well, I work for a catering company , so all day I make (and try ) food , so I would probably have to hit the gym for a few months before I could bust out any of my old moves . Now back in the day , I had an ill backspin , kneespin , could get a few rotations on my head ,and had some nice freezes . But !! I always fell into the catagory that I hate .. The guy with the weak uprock . These days , if the music hits me just right , you might catch me popping ( which I am still pretty good at ) , but I haven't tried to go down to the floor in years .

^ I was kind of the opposite Jay.My uprock was nasty, and I had crazy freezes, but didn't do alot of spinnin'.
So that brought my stock down.Which was a blessing because I picked up a mic soon after.Which back then was a good thing because of the girls!Although wearing a hood in 85 degree NY heat and sunglasses at night made alot of people scratch their heads. But it looked cool to them.Hip Hop.....It's fantastic

Peace

I used to do a lot of breakdancing when I was younger with a friend, my Dad also used to run a really nice crew in the 80's so he was always pushing me to go harder (cardboard in the basement). I'm sure I could still do some of the stuff I used to be able to but I haven't really done anything serious in nearly a decade. My not so unique signature move (to be busted out at weddings, parties and even on stage at least once in Jamaica if I remember right lol) was always a windmill...I used to be able to really get going continuously though I never had the form to keep it tight like the pros. My real problem was getting into or out of the move but I could usually pop up and out of it (onto my hands and then feet) easier than I could roll into it.

My ambition was always to do a proper flare, I got to the point that I could enter into the move nicely but could never even get close to bringing it all the way around...sadly, that is a move that I don't think I'll ever complete.

Beyond those, lots of random freezes, a hollow back here or there etc.
