Since Wiscompton dropped the hint here, Eye figured I'd get this started off right....

....if we're going to do a Golden Age video thread, then it's only right we start it with the show that truly is ground zero for Golden Age Hip-Hop videos....


...the legendary pioneering TV show called VIDEO MUSIC BOX....

Not only was this the place to see all your favorite videos, especially Hip Hop...but the creators of the show, VJ Ralph McDaniels and Lionel (the Vid Kid) Martin also were the producers of a very large percentage of Hip-Hop's earliest entries into the video realm (as the production team, Classic Concepts). 

They still get it in to this day....still coming on the grass roots tip, but in the crisp and clean format of cable television........


.....but, let me take you back to the days of UHF.....when you got your TV over the air.....and the UHF band was particularly weak, so good reception was hard to come by.......ah yes.....rabbit ear antennas............those were the days....
