I think Kraftwerk either won something or was honored in some way at the Grammys and it was not televised...I'm convinced the Grammys are a shit show...

kraftwerk had more influence on the breakdancing scene than hip hop itself....this wasn't exactly lyrical music

^^ Of course Kraftwerk kept the b-boys movin , but you do have to take into consideration that hip hop itself wasn't lyrical in its infentcy . It was mostly breaks and beats . Shortly after the days of the emcee , electro beats ran ramp if through hip hop . Kraftwerk definitely had a heavy influence on that aspect of hip hop.
