De La Soul & J Dilla ‎– Smell The Da.I.S.Y. LP (AOI Records) 2014

^That doesn't count. Limited to 100 and now almost $700?

Prior to that we had...

De La Soul - First Serve LP/CD (PIAS) 2012

^which although called an album isn't exactly the whole crew and it is currently is only available on HTF wax and most CDs overseas.

Before that we had...

De La Soul ‎– The Impossible: Mission TV Series: Pt. 1 LP (2006)

^Pretty good actually but still not an album more of a B-sides comp.

So the last legit De La Album was 2004, 10 years ago.

De La Soul - The Grind Date CD/LP (Sanctuary Records) 2004

^An actual album, but a decade old already.

Meanwhile, we're getting bi-yearly albums from the Roots and they are doing their late night TV gig on top of that.

Are these guys gonna keep dropping albums or is this gonna be all uber limited insts, B-Sides and EPs, maybe lost DATs surfacing? Or are they still making real moves together? Are they retired or is it a Jay-Z retirement?

I looked in a bunch of nearby shops for that dilla record, to no avail. That's crazy people are paying 7 bills for that. I don't usually flip records that I enjoy, but I definitely would've cashed that one in if I could've.
