A while back I asked COMPUTERS aka akademik if I could remix his beats just for fun and he said it would be cool. Frankly, I love what beats he's been dropping and I consider it a good challenge for me to "play around" with his already dope beats. I doubt I'll be able to improve what's already good, but I don't mind trying. It's great practice and a lot of fun.

This lil back n forth colab (feedback, changes, more feedback, more changes) may not amount to anything, it might end with this first post, or it might yield some pretty cool beats after tweaking from feedback. Either way feedback from everyone is always welcome.

This is my remix number one (Rough draft, not compressed or mastered, just raw beats) It's really nothing more then a few extra layers and an extended outro. LOL at the latin beats, I had to do it! I didn't touch the first few bars too much at all.

^Self review... Late morning, I just got to work and listened to it for the first time on "different speakers" then the ones in my lab at home. The siren that comes in at the 14 second mark is too loud. I'll fix that when I get home.

Lesson 1 learned: This just reiterates the importance of listening to your productions on multiple speakers before releasing that shit to the public LOL.

Lesson 2 learned: I got studio monitors I should have set up to make it instead of using my standard listening speakers, that really reveals those kind of volume issues.
