Is vestax equipment no longer made in Japan ?? I have a vestax mixer and it was made in Japan .

I know a lot or most of their gear was made in Japan, but if you look closely at the Handy Trax, the tonearm and cart looks like it came straight out of the Hanpin or Skywin factory in China.

Greetings.

GP-3 is absolutely what I think most people are looking for in a portable. I've had one for years now. It's been well maintained and been through some storms. HandyTrax and PT-01 just can't compare. There's smaller ones, ones that sound better / louder, but GP-3 gets the balance right.

And by the way, ^this guy knows his portables, so that's solid advice.

Hope you don't mind jemist101, but I gotta share this pic you took of some of your portables and posted on imgur.

double thumbs up

That pic is great^^ !!! I am looking for a Fischer Price joint for my daughter . I would love to cop a GP -3 if I had the dough . I recently saw a portable mixer for the GP-3 , but they were asking $500 and some change for it . Definitely out of my current price range . So is 300 + for a GP-3 ☹️ . Very impressive collection jemist101 !!

Thanks all, and no probs Rchecka on the repost winking smiley

A friend of mine recently dropped a pretty penny on a matching 2 x GP-3 and GMX combo. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't bidding in it as well, but alas, twas not meant to be.

I picked up my GP-3 when they were at the more desirable $129-ish USD, but alas, doesn't appear to be the way anymore. I find it shocking as all hell that HandyTrax fetch enormous prices online as they do (I guess because of the Raiden fader?). I really do think the PT-01 isnthe better of the two.

Fisher Price turntables turn up way cheap, so do it! I'm sure your daughter would love it smiling smiley
