Also, let us know if we are missing a feature you would like. We can't promise all your feature enhancement requests will get filled but if it's noteworthy and possible we'll give it a shot!

By the way, videos such as youtube can be embedded here by using [video][/video] with the youtube link in the middle. We are currently working on enabling embedded sound cloud links as well.

Update 3/14/2001:

• New emoticons added (some of them are real zany!)

• Preview thread module added (Previews the first few sentences of each thread by hovering your mouse over it) (if users don't like this they can turn it on or off in their user control panel under forum settings.)

• Flash support added to BB code editor

• Quick reply added

Update 3/17/2001:

• Attachments enabled
• Mp3 Player Embedding Enabled
• Auto Timezone Module Enabled

(Hopefully these new features will encourage users to share more mp3s or other items without having to rely on a third party host such as sendspace, soundcloud, etc.)

TO ATTACH A FILE:

1. While logged in you can click Attach a file... on the quick reply or reply windows.
2. Or click Control Center while logged in, then Edit My Files. You can upload any file up to 8MB. You can have up to 8 attachments including pics, vids, mp3s or whatever. You can then embed the mp3 using the mp3 embedding button.


NOTE: If server space becomes an issue, we may pull the plug on attachments but for now it's good to go.

Waiting for a Soundcloud embedding module under development.

Other then that, I think it's good since there have been no comments or complaints.

Feel free to chime in on any features or lack thereof.
