I just recently got the Kenwood 1050CT and I love the hell out of it.



This is a huge upgrade from the old Sony dual deck I had, sound quality is so much better. This has a lot of features that were born in the CD to mixtape age like auto bias and CCRS which somehow reads the overall peak level of a CD during recording. Anyways, got it used and I'm quite happy with it as it appears and sounds basically unused.

I cleaned the rollers with the 99 alcohol and they were already clean, no dirt. Whoever had it before me either didn't use it or cleaned it but needless to say, I got my new favorite tape deck.

My new deck courtesy of Rchecka. Been digging out some tapes I bought years ago to play now that I'm no longer confined to a Walkman. A lot more fun to listen to tapes this way. Also made my first homemade cassette mixes in years.
