NEVER EVER BUY A SLEEP NUMBER BED.

I am an idiot for falling for their sales pitch. I literally bought a 1000 dollar glorified air mattress. After trying to sleep well for 6 months on the damn thing I am selling it. NOT ONCE did my wife or I sleep well on that piece of shit rip off. The inner chambers leaked 4 times in 6 months. Each time they were replaced, the pieces of shit would pop again.

I have never been more pissed off at a purchase than I have with this crap. DON'T make the same mistake I did. Just buy a regular mattress.



I should have read the reviews at these sites before throwing away a grand. My doctor and a chiropractor I know both said those things are the absolute worst mattresses for you back ever and I wish they would have told me this before i bought the damn thing.

Media Mail sucks so damn bad.

Every time I try to save a buck on shipping it means I gotta deal with getting my records at least a week later. Mark my words, I will never use Media Mail EVER again. I ordered a few records well over a week ago from Chicago's Dusty Groove records, normally with First Class mail it takes maybe 3 biz days at the most to get to my house. With Priority it only takes 2 days. With Media Mail, who the fuck knows, for sure at least a week if not more. I could have driven to Chicago and back 15 times since they shipped it.

I swear to God my package went to Texas and then California before they finally figured out where it should go.

Media Mail and First Class seem to have gotten a lot worse over the last year or so. I've noticed packages taking way longer. Not just stuff I order, but things I mail out, whether large or small, records, or anything else.

USPS just isn't that reliable anymore because they laid off a ton of staff. That means less people to move packages and more time involved in getting things from point A to point B. When I order stuff now, it's pretty much priority mail only. If I were mailing a record to someone, I would use priority mail until I'm giving away something for free. Depending on the situation I might still spring for priority mail.

What really sucks is this situation is going to hurt smaller independent stores that rely on mailorder customers. My friend runs an online store and his business took a hit due to international postage increases, and now the slowdown in media mail is probably going to effect him as well.
