Both these look both but the G-Shock (limited only to Japan unfortunately) looks amamzing. It's tied into your smartphone. The Swatch on the other hand is a touch screen that doesn't do much but looks pretty rad.

I'd imagine it represents the sconds...while the 23:57 is military time.....
