Took a photo of this huge moth I saw (polyphemus) near my house...

It's wings were pecked by some bird who didn't believe his eye spots.

Birds really can be a bunch of peckers. Especially when they poop on my ride.

So, I posted this on imgur, asking what species of moth it was, and some drive-by poet wrote:
