Quoterchecka Man I could listen to Sergio Mendes albums all day. I don't have that one... You havent heard The Great Arrival? Its Milwalkee bound brotha.by truseone - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
I had to pick up two copies of the Sergio. I might get bashed for saying this but his version of the " Morning", in my opinion, is way better Cal Tjaders-both versions.by truseone - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
This is crazy. One thing that I can tell you is that Amnesia is super wack. As expensive as that joint is, I wouldn't be surprised if the dude was trying to play kid for the okey doke. Oh and depending on what night you are there, the probability of you throwing blows with someone is very high. So this incident is not surprising.by truseone - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
Why do you like Rap music? I like it because I can relate to it. More importantly, it was the mouth piece of this cultural art form called hip hop. It wasn't just about the rap itself, it was about the fact that it represented a lifestyle that I identified with. I still get goosebumps listening to the "wrong side of the tracks" by the artifacts because my friends and I would putby truseone - Crate Digging: Hip Hop

Quotevamosarapiar Damn, didn't know that Mic Tyson leaked...support music with a purchase people as opposed to just downloading that shit! Uhhh this didnt leak brotha...lol... This has been up on UGHH since Friday and on pre order for a couple of weeks now You better cop it before it's sold out.by truseone - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
Quoterchecka I'll add that most people who fear Obamacare do so out of ignorance, completely unaware of how it will hurt or help them personally based on fear mongering rhetoric. It's their lack of knowledge and understanding of it that makes it so scary to comprehend. Fear of the unknown is common, and "fear is the mindkiller" (which is a great death metal album by fear fby truseone - General Discussion
Im going to have to go with: Dela Marco Polo Afta 1by truseone - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
Im very behind jay but, I've been rocking some Reks really heavy. Im still on the Rebelution Album. Ah lets see, I got the Man with the nIron Fist Soundtrack and The MIc Tyson album by Sean Price. I also copped the Ozone Originals : OC mixtape ( 1993-1996 ). I need more things to listen to.by truseone - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
Jeru..? Me personally, I would say he is pretty significant as an original member of the Gangstarr foundation. Heroes for Hire excluded, he has two classic albums on his first go round. Wrath of the Math showed a progression in songwriting. As far as production goes, I think it's some of Primo's greatest work next to the Livin' Proof album. Sorry to go off on a tangent, buby truseone - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
I dunno Akai lost me at the 5000, which was a bunch of crap IMO. I really wasnt messing with anything past the 2000. Im suprised this hasn't generated a lot of buzz. I think Roger Linn needs to go back to Akai and make something happen.by truseone - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
What is this all about? I've been out of the loop. What are you guys thoughts on this?by truseone - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
QuoteEyeGetzRaw Always dug Jean Gray from the Natural Resource (What What) days and the stuff w/Herbaliser...actually had a few joints with them that were nice. Never got quite the respect that she was due IMO...but Eye, agree, she had slipped a bit in the later efforts. She was featured on the slept on Mr Len album quite a bit. Would be nice to hear some new heat...she's got one of more twiby truseone - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
This is really dope man and nostalgic. Keep projects like this coming.by truseone - Member Submissions
Aww man for me Big L has some of the best ones: "I'm so ahead of my time my parents havent met yet." "Ask Beavis I get nothing Butthead." "battling me is like fighting a gorilla in a phone booth" "I wouldnt give a chick ten cents to put cheese on a whopper" Not really a one liner but dope nonetheless: In street brawls I strike men likby truseone - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
Yoooo...Godfather Don. Wow havent heard him in a minute. I remember the "Properties of the Steel" joint from the Reality Check Mixtape. Yo Jay...that Oddisee joint is out already? Man I've been out of the loop. Working too much.by truseone - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
Yo rchecka, that Natural Yogurt joint is nice. I really like the "revivalist" groups like Sharon Jones and Nicole Willis, this stands out however, because its more funky as opposed to the 60's Motown, Stax sound most groups are chasing.by truseone - Crate Digging: Non Hip Hop
I was listening to this joint today. I got to thinking about Shawn J . Period beats. So now Im looking up some of his other work. This was a dope album to me.by truseone - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
Hahaha word I'm glad to be here. Thanks.by truseone - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
What's up, I'm a new member here. Forgive me but I couldnt find an "introduce yourself" thread. I kinda like some of KeroOne's stuff. That Check the Blueprints beat is nice.by truseone - Crate Digging: Hip Hop
