^Good chunes. Except the blah blah song, not a big fan of that one.

Last night was a Poor Righteous Teachers manight...

Poor Righteous Teachers - I Swear Ta God, Word Iz Life, Shakiyla, Time To Say Peace, Rare and Unreleased, Holy Intellect, Exit 7A Presents, Rock Dis Funky Joint 12"s and EPs

^I love those classic PRT 12"s, the unreleased stuff isn't as good but no big surprise there. The Exit 7A EP has some really interesting joints on it though, checkit.

Last night...

Unspoken Heard - Better / Smiley 12" (7 Heads)

^Great group. Great cover art. Weak single. Don't even bother getting this just cuz it looks cool, that's the mistake I made.

MC Eiht - All for the Money 12" (Epic Street)

^All day, every day.

Rubberoom - Synapse Gap / Beneth the Surface 12" (Elastic Recordings)

First 12" from my favorite Chitown crew. Sweet promo, love this one.

^^Never heard that PRT ep, sounds dope.

I recently pulled out the Jurassic 5 first album. Man this is forst of all way better than I remember (I only used to like Concrete schoolyard & action satisfaction) but it also shocked me that this album is as old as it is...could've sworn it came out about 8 years ago...or am I getting old very fast?

^I remember how dope that EP\album was when it first came out. Chali Tuna gave it such an old school throwback sound, it was a good return to form. It came out a long time ago, it's not just you G. I only got it on CD, bout time I copped the EP.

This kend' I bumped some new arrivals from DWG records I acquired straight from the source...

Emskee – The Complex Engineer EP, T.D.S. Mob – The Dope Committee EP, and Damu The Fudgemunk Featuring Buff1 - When Winter Comes / Truly Get Yours 7" (DWG Records)

^Dope dope dope! I guess that'd make it 3X dope. (ehhh...WACKA WACKA! ) Seriously though, I'm pumped as all hell to have all those, ESPECIALLY that Emskee EP. They sample the Sesame Street Numbers song, I WAS GONNA DO THAT DAMNIT! I wanted to sample that song, I still will, but Emskee did it first and did it right. HOT DAMN! Can't say enough about how good that is, buy it if you can get a copy before the price goes way up. Super limited to way less then 300 copies each.
