Been playing some random albums I haven't listened to in quite a while like

Then had to bump Schooly D's first 2 albums.

Also picked up that PRT ep from 1999 that R-checka mentioned a while back.

^Random rap from Hotlanta, I had high hopes for this but it fizzled. I'd only use this on a mix if I was making a southern random rap mix, even then I'd be hesitant to use it since its so mediocre. I'll give it another shot, but sometimes random rap is so unknown for a reason.

^God this album is so stupid. I don't know what it is, it's just really obnoxious. Why do I even still have this album, I musta gave it like 5 chances to not suck and yet every time I listen to it, it sucks just the same. One mediocre track on this and the rest are just dumb as hell.

Last night...

Dabrye - Two / Three 12" (Ghostly Recordings)



Probably the best (sometimes categorized as) glitch hop production I have ever heard. The production on this is abstract and boom bap at the same time. That's a hard thing to do, and he does it really well. Besides all kinds of short n sweet beats, this one is loaded w/ some real top notch MCs. The AG track in this is REALLY on point.
