^Huge fan of Shadow. I think that's his best album overall, even better than Entroducing.

Last night...

RA the Rugged Man & Sadat X - 50,000 Heads 12" (white label) 1996

Already had this track on the "Legendary Classics V.1" he put out earlier last year. But I figured this would be worth it for the instrumentals. As a bonus the remix is slamming on this.

Lon Louis - Nasty 12" (no label) Japanese Bootleg?

Don't know much about this other than it's Japanese and a remix of Tribe Called Quest joints. REALLY well remixed, 3 of the 4 tracks on this are even better then the already great original songs.

Yeah man, I feel you on the Shadow thing, I've got nearly everything he did from the early days on vinyl, and somewhere I've got everything he did on MP3. Saw him live a couple of years back, proper performance instead of a DJ set, he was great. I'm a proper Stan-type fan. I got my Midnight In A Perfect World 12" signed by Gift Of Gab wen I supported him a couple of years back.

To be honest, I really feel that he fell right off when he dropped that album with hyphy on it.... I am not feeling that at all. It was a bit silly of him to say "people really need to decide whether they're a fan of Endtroducing, or of the artist".... if he'd made an opera album, or a country album, then would he have expected the same adoration as he got with his early stuff?

For the record, I LOVED pretty much everything he did from In/Flux (or even further back, the Zimbabwe Legit remix) up to the Dark Days soundtrack.... the first mis-step I think he did was that horrible Keane remix. The UNKLE album was amazing. But his more recent stuff... not feeling it. :/
