Last night...

Wicked Lestor / Boricua All Stars (aka Freddy Fresh) - Fire In Yer Soul / Boricua House Party 7" (Howling Records) 2001

^Freddy Fresh knows beats, and this one is proof of that. I had access to a few of these 7" that came via mail order from the Twin Cities records under Freddy Fresh called Howling Records, out of all of them this was the stand out so I had to cop it.

Freestyle Professors / Stanley Grimes ‎– Ghetto Gospel / Stanley Grimes 7" (Freestyle Records) 2010

^One of my favorite Hip Hop 7"s, fairly HTF at this point and the B side is fantastic Hip Hop. OSHH.com and DWG members might remember Ed Catto from the group of members, he was the producer for it. Good stuff.

^No doubt, there's been a lot of hype surrounding that, it sounds really promising, I hope that gets a proper release and doesn't get swept under the rug.

Last night....

Various - The Sound of Harlem Volume 2 (Street Cab Sounds) 2004

^Great reissue of some hard to find live routines from some heavy old school hitters, to name just one, Funky Four + 1 More. Sound quality it very good, not your typical shady old school repress at all. I see you can cop this right now at Discogs for 7 bones, great deal.
