Jeff has always and continues to be dope of the wheels of steels. Highly underrated as a DJ...up until he started shinin' with his, 'A Touch of Jazz' production company and then going back to making mixtapes - and DJ'ing clubs, hardcore (in the early 2000's). I think people saw him as a clown and didn't take him seriously (after his break from rap music) - during the 90's) due to his side-kick role on, 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air'.

Yes, I never cared about perception.Jazzy Jeff I thought was extremely instrumental in
pioneering the Philly game.As far as abilities, there was this BET award show some time back where Capri,Flash and Jeff was on the same stage.Technically, it wasn't even funny.Jeff bust that ass.
From this I like how cats like him honestly breakdown the whole cratediggin' experience.
I like how he refers to it as things life...a lifetime, a obsession,he couldn't shake it.
etc..All you cratediggers know the feelin'.I respected when he gave that aspect of it.
Much respect as always for Jazzy Jeff.Clearly one of the most underrated DJ's of all time.

I Love Jazzy Jeff, a well rounded DJ with numerous styles of mixtapes out there. A great beat smith too I'd add.

yeah, I never really saw Capri as a technical DJ, at all....stritcly a party DJ. As much as I wouldn't pay to see/hear Kid Carpri spin (then or now)...I gottta show respect for him, in any case.

GMF got stuck int he past on his DJ'ing...and never really conformed to uopdating his style to the new tricks, newer style of scratchin' cutting, etc.....but - noone could touch GMF on the beat juggling.

Jeff was/is the all-in-one packaged DJ, IMO
