Which brings me to this quick story..Caught up with an old buddy of mine from Camp Lejeune this past December..He was down here vacationing.He's an old school gun enthusiast.So,I take him and his son and daughter to the local gun range.His wife stayed back with mine.She's Columbian.Geographically and politically Brasil hates Columbia and visa versa,so we kinda left them to themselves.Wonder what they talked about....any way..He taught his kids to hunt and shoot and all that since they were young.So,me and him are shootin the shit about weapons.Were talking nomenclature,distances,maintenance,range scores,etc..mixed in with old marine corps stories,much to the chagrin of his son and daughter in the back of my car.You'd think we was doing an infommercial.So we get there get at the stalls,Don the safety equipment,lock and load,aim in,do our thing,standard operation targets,you know..the ol bandito holding the woman hostage and the silhouettes,decent distances,nothing Gibson.

We both put tight groups, where we want em,9 Millie's nothing exotic.He's a glock guy, I'm a S&W guy.He edges me out, I start hearing his mouth.Then it's his son and daughters turns.We're giving them tips,they smile and blow us off.Then they both kindly go out and light the targets up like the Fourth of July.Our scores were no where close to theirs.As you could figure out the ride back was pretty silent.Two old marines humbled by a couple of young up and comers.Damn! those whippersnappers

The moral of course is that I never doubt anyone's skills.
You just never know.So if I ever head north or you ever head south on an occasion.The jagermeister will be on me!
Cause that would be sumthin' I'd like to see.
