Wow has it really been 40 years. it's hard to be it's been that long. And you know what fellas I rocked the shoe laces also. and yes that box style took forever to get done. and the Puma Clyde was my favorite shoe. i had the Blue Black and grey and a brown and beige. I miss the break beats. I mean although they were all using the same breaks each DJ cut the song a little different and made it seem like it was a different song sometime. That's missing today. Good thread. As for park jams, I'm planning my next documentray, HIPHOP ON WAX, about the making of the first ever rap records and Hiphops evolution from the park to the studio. Pretty excited to interview some old school legends and lesser known studio players and producers and find out more myself.
