Once in awhile, I go back like probably many of the fam here to remember just what the definition of EMCEE is...




I had to almost turn away at DMX's part..I mean that was the pinnacle of rippin' shit!

BM31 is right...that track is, '4, 3, 2, 1'....it came out in '97. this is the joint that LL released a second version becuase the original version had Canibus on it, where Canibus dissed LL (on his own track).

I believe that story goes like this:

Canibus dropped his verse before LL. LL heard it, got offended, wrote and spit his verse dissing Canibus. One way or the other, Canibus found out LL dissed him, and the two agreed to both re-write their verses as it was just a misunderstanding. Canibus re-recorded with another verse, LL didn't, which is what started the beef and prompted Second Round Knockout.

That beef is one of the best on record.
