Post them up here. I'll start with my favorite and an obvious one:

Egotrip

If you don't know about this site, you are missing out. Updated multiple times daily.

Check out the new Lil Fame (M.O.P.) track, shit is raw!

^Shameless Plug: worriedCould be even better if I wasn't so busy trying to make paper and\or if I had a few more regular guest contributors\reviewers\pieces. PM me if interested in trading blog write-ups or reviews or whatever.

That's all I can think of now I'll add more as they come to me.

You guys should add on to this list, surely most of you have other great blogs you read not mentioned yet.

I only read my own writing/blogs. ((needcoffee)) spam alert dropped the bomb

In all seriousness though I don't follow blogs the way I used to because sometimes it can tend to be an overload of too much music from so many sources (I prefer forums for the most streamlined and less conflicted advocacy of good music at this point). Either way, I check on a few sporadically (primarily the one's that have been highlighted already) and end up on as many as a result of searching and random surfing.

-Egotrip --- ya'll already said it, they put in work and they're interesting, funny and perfectly oddball.

-Wax Poetic --- all about the print 'zine but they got some good stuff online as well as exclusive content

-HeightFiveSeven --- this only comes to mind after mentioning Wax Poetic because she used to guest-blog for them (maybe she still does?). Ultimately this blog is all over the place and not exactly the pinnacle of great writing or mind-shattering insights...nonetheless, she basically chronicles her record-buying adventures (and consequent lamentations) and that's something that's very easy to relate to (particularly because she's not some super digger that I end up hating out of jealousy whenever I read something from). She's long-winded and informal but funny (e.g. "You want me to talk about how your Caucasian-psych-swirly-bass band reminded me to do Fantasy Football again this year? WELL OK THEN.") but to be honest I end up skimming through a lot of it. Good blog but not the most condensed musical knowledge available (personally I'd ditch the "bikini-clad" and ramp up on the "nerdiness"). Also, she's prominently featured on the cover of Adrian Younge's record AND the new one with Ghostface I believe (haven't confirmed that but it looks a lot like her). Finally, it's good to see female (music) writing and that's not at all a function of her exhibitionism.

-HipHopDX --- shameless plug but worth qualifying: 75% of this shit isn't relevant to me and is just pure wack...still, there are good interviews, editorials and reviews from time to time (whenever my name is attached of course CUCKOO CUCKOO!! )

-2dopeboyz --- ONLY if you're interested in "new blog-Hip Hop." To be honest sites like this and nahright ushered in the age of blog-rappers IMO, I just don't have the time or patience for it anymore but I still surf 2dopeboyz from time to time for the random "I wonder what this sounds like" and introduction into the new artist. It's also an extremely quick--and scary--way of finding out what the blogs--oops, I mean, er, streets--are listening to these days.

-Okayplayer --- great site, they put in work on a lot of different levels. I write for Okayafrica from time to time but that's a very niche spot and not for general browsing (unless you're African or into African music to that degree). The Revivalist is also a dope one under the OKP umbrella.

I'll think of somewhere and return. Honestly I need to set up RSS feeds and say goodbye to human interaction all together but I'm not sure how it works yet.
