On October 25th, i went and saw Biz Markie DJ a Halloween party at a casino about an hour away from my house.

It was pretty cool, I got to get within 10/15 feet of Biz for most of the night, dancing like a fool in my clown costume. They had cameras videoing the dance floor and projecting on to two large screen on the side. When I was out there dancing, I was on camera almost the whole time, because I'm 6'2" and was shaking my orange wig all crazy and attracting a lot of attention!

There was a costume contest with big money being given out, but I was not included because I didn't show up before the event started to get "nominated". It was B.S., because the night's info page said they would be picking contestants from 8-11 pm, they picked them all by 8. Rigged. I know I would have walked away with at least 1 category, because I literally had to take pics with at least 20 random people who thought my costume rocked/was creepy.

Anyway, Biz played for 2 hours, and was pretty good. He played a mix of old school rap and new school. Through in some 80's rock and R&B, and played probably 6 or 7 MJ songs. He did some basic scratching and slam mixing, which is exactly what i expected. It was a good time. I was cracking up his body guards/ helpers by dancing all crazy, and at one point, one of them tapped Biz on the shoulder and pointed to me and Biz looked up at me and chuckled. I enjoyed the fact that Biz didn't act all crazy "knob twisting" in between songs, he just stood there looking around with his hands behind his back. When he was about to drop the new song, he would close his eyes and put his head back, like he was zoning out. It was pretty classic and reminded me of a "Jesus pose", lol.

I was kinda hoping I would get a chance to get a pic with him at some point, but wasn't able to. We watched the rigged costume contest for about 15 minutes then left the ballroom in frustration (you should have seen the lame ass costumes that were up on stage, and the bad ass costumes that were on the floor going wtf?). There were two 10ft tall Transformers with LED's and everything that were bad ass, they won some $.

I was in the hallway looking for an ATM, smoking and finishing a drink when I realized Biz was walking toward me. I yelled "Biz" and he stopped and looked at me. I held out my hand for a dap, and he obliged, then I told him he was a legend (Didn't know what to say, lol). And we both went on our way. That made my year!

Here's pics (they are crappy phone pics):

Biz's "Jesus Pose":

And me with a random person who wanted a pic with me (there were SO many) I was Cialis the Clown:

Haha, you should see my shoes, I take Halloween seriously. My shoes cost $100, my nose cost $30. The overalls were about $35-40, the orange shirt was about 15. The make up was $5. BUT, this is the second year (skipped 2) that i was a clown.
