I had not seen that . I love Talib Kweli !!! That's a real dude that speaks out on real troubles . I may not care for all of his music , but the songs that speak to me , REALLY speak to me . This whole thing in Furguson is crazy . When I do catch the footag , it looks like the type of shit you on the news in other countries and say " damn I'm glad things don't come to that here ". I realize that there is some looting and other crimes taking place there by people who don't know another way to channel their anger , but I hate to see the way so many peaceful protesters are being treated . I don't know the full story , but I hope some kind of ACTUAL justice comes out of this . As for Talib Kweli , I'm glad he's there and wasn't hesitant to speak on it . I just wish he hadn't got cut off in the first place , so we could possibly hear a little more about what's really going on ... I can't stand when people try to use their voice in a positive manner and it just falls on deaf ears .

Talib wrote a piece about the interview on Medium. Really solid stuff. Always an educated perspective and never an ego with Talib.

I'll admit that I'm burned out on his music for the most part but I'm glad he's carrying the torch nonetheless.

EDIT: Here's the article.
